Default New Futaba Radio

Anyone know anything about this one.

Futaba 6EXA Aircraft System ** NEW **
Futaba has just released a new radio that is sure to be a winner on features and price point. This aircraft system is computer controlled with many of the basic programming features you require, but at an analog radio price.
Features Include:

6-Channel FM Aircraft Radio
R127DF Dual Conversion FM Receiver
Four S3004 Ball Bearing Servos
6-Model Memory with Reset
Retract Switch and Flap Proportional Knob
Throttle Cut-off Switch
Programmable Mixing
Adjustable Stick Length
Audible Battery Power Warning

For the price they are selling it for it seems like one heck of a deal.

Default New Futaba Radio

This is the replacement to the 6VA/6DA family. It is a VERY VERY basic computer radio. If all you need is an entry level 6 channel system, yes it is a nice low price point.

Default New Futaba Radio

Was fiddeling around with one at the lhs over the weekend; pretty nice radio overall, iirc there's actually one programmable mix! Trainer port is the new square port ala 9C, Channels are still listed as 1,2, ...6 with a little legend printed on the TX that tells you 3=throttle, etc (unlike JR's). Has a slightly "cheap" plastic feel to it but should be a better deal than JR's 631 cost wise. The upcoming VG6000 ETA June should be a pretty good contender with digital trim display.
