Default DX6i & DX5e

Hello,

I am just wondering if it is possible to buddy box a DX5e with a DX6i? I am pretty sure it is possible, but not 100% sure because I thought I read somewhere that you can only buddy box computer radios with the DX6i.

I have a friend that is looking at getting into the hobby and he may get the E-Flite Apprentice 15E with the DX5e included and I just want to make sure that the buddy box setup will work.

Default RE: DX6i & DX5e

I found out the answer in a manual that I found for the DX5e. It is possible to buddy box the DX5e with all Spektrum and JR radios.

Default RE: DX6i & DX5e

i fly all my planes with the dx6i and i use the radio that came with the parkzone t-28 trojan as the buddy box hooked up to it and it works just fine. so it should work with the dx5e.
