Spektrum systems "jerks" when turned on
Hi All,
Finally got my new Spektrum radio, only problem is that when I turn it on the servos "jerk" for a second during the boot up, with most of them moving and a couple channels going through the full range of motion. AR-6000 receiver, and it does it whether it's on a separate battery or off a Lipo motor battery.
Any thoughts??
TIA,
Steve

The Spektrum system goes into Failsafe upon BootUp, for a brief second. This is true for the JR 2.4, as well.
I once thought about setting the Failsafe for Retracts, on a Spektrum equipped aircraft, to Retracts Up. When I would Boot the Tx and Rx, the gear would cycle. Only way to prevent this was to set the Failsafe for Retracts, to Down.

That's exactly the problem I was having, the gear would cycle and I was worried.
THANKS!!!

Set the transmitter up like you want it then rebind the receiver.

exactly, Once you are finished with setting everything up do a final rebind and it will almost eliminate any servo movements at startup.
