Alpex Hobby FM

I just got an Alpex hobby 4 channel FM reciever for a good deal. I want to use it with a pistol radio, on a mini r/c car. Is this possible? It operates on 72mhz.

Yep, you can't use 72 MHz on a car / boat - it's aircraft only. Surface radios operate in the 75 MHz band.
