Default 7CAF and T6EXAP crystals?

I want to buy a new 7CAF transmitter from tower hobbies but they do not have my channel in stock. Will the tx crystal work form my old T6EXAP on the 7CAF?

It is ileagal in the US to change frequencys on your TX unless they have a frequency modlule that is interchangable. The reason is the the tuning will be lost with a crystal change and it take a FCC certified tech to make the change. If the retuning of the TX isn't done, there will be some signal output, but it will not be as strong as a proberly tuned radio. A crystal change alone may also cause the TX to blead over to adjacent channels.

Futaba will make a frequency change at a nominal charge. Pick up the radio you want then have them make the change. Sleep well and fly without concerns.
