JR12X Code Update
Question:
Why are code updates not available for download so 12X owners can complete updates without having to send their systems back for "repair". Seems to me a simple web interface would make this an easy task to accomplish and as bugs are found or enhancements are made owners could be current in a flash.
I can think of no reason, other than keeping UPS in business that this is not the way to go.
Tell me where I am wrong....

They just chose not to put some sort of flashcard into their flagship model such as Futaba has done. I was surprised that the 9303 when it first came out did not have one and I thought the 12X surely would but no. Maybe when their management moves into the current century that will change.
