Default Futaba GY401 destroyed or fixable?

I had an accident and a flybar paddle hit my gyro (don`t ask how). Some pics:

It doesn`t look damaged at all just the outer shell but it behaves strange. When i connect it it moves right - left constantly. Any way i can reset or something?

I wouldn`t care if this was one of my std walkera gyros but this is worth over $100 so i don`t want to buy another if i can fix this.

Any ideas?

Contact hobby services and see what they say it might cost to fix it. I would hate to gamble a helicopter on a change the gyro would fail in flight. You know if it did fail, it would be at the worst possible time to, inverted, close to the ground at a high speed. Way back it was about 50% the cost of a new one for any repair. Not sure if that is still the way it is or not.

As it already is going right left right left constantly it`s not even in use now Is "hobby services" a place in particular or just a hobby shop in general?

Thx for the help!

It's Hobbico Support. The number is: (217) 398-8970. Call them, go to Futaba, ask to speak to a technical advisor/technician/whatever and ask them directly.
I'd hate to see you having to buy a new gyro, but I'd also hate for you to have to buy a new chopper because of a failed gyro.

Without checking it out, we'd not know what might be wrong. The unit should be sent to the service center.

You send it to us if it was purchased from North America, otherwise, use your regular Futaba service center.
