AR6100 CC 10 AMP BEC LOCKOUT
I have been flying this type of setup for years. This was a new plane with a cc45, cc 10 amp bec and ar6100. I lost contact at full power at about 30 feet out. This was during straight flight with 4 hs65 servos on 3s. Control returned after 3 seconds.
This happened twice and I send both components in for inspection. HH said RX was fine and sent a new one anyways. CC didnt test the bec but send a new one to be nice.
I am now flying same plane and esc with the new 10 amp bec and an ar6200 with no issues.
I liked the cost and size of the 6100 but am not sure that I trust it. I guess it could have been the castle bec as well but all of this stuff is solid state....Why would this config work perfectly in other planes and all of the sudden turn up bad in this one?
Any similar experiences out there? I know it was either component because I didn't change anything else.
Oh CC bec was set to 6 volts output.
thx
