Default Which controller?

Well ive decided I want to make the jump to specktrum or at least 2.4ghz freq so that i can use the same controller with all of my cars, and not have to keep guessing with the crystals....

So now i have to choose, futaba or spektrum?

Futaba:
3PK 2.4ghz with FASST system
4PK 2.4ghz with FASST system (seems like a little much)
Spektrum:
DX 3.0 all the way to the top DX3r...

Basically I right now have 2 cars

AE TC3 with mamaba max setup (2s lipo 7700kv geared for speed)
Duratrax vendetta basher (3s lipo 3900kv ammo motor)

i will possibly be adding a couple nitro and some other electric so i want one controller i can just add recievers too...
Which would u sugguest, some seem like complete over kill...

I was thinking
3pk system

or

DX3s

whats this DSM2 technology is that something i should spring for?

THanks!

DSM2 is the second generation of equipment from the Spektrum brand. If you buy Spektrum brand, definitely get the DSM2 because
> DSM transmitters will only communicate with DSM receivers
> DSM2 transmitters will communicate with DSM2 and DSM receivers
In their aircraft systems, DSM is discontinued and only DSM2 is being made.

As far as what you should get. Which one feels better in your hands? Which one has the most model memories for when you start adding to your collection?
