Default Chokes on leads and Y's

I am building a 40 size stick with servo in each wing half. Looks to be about 15-16 inches each half. Will I need a choke in the Y or leads? I am using a futaba 6YG fm.

Check out the link below. I asked about using filters with a Futaba radio and this is what Futaba responded with. Right from the horse's mouth, so to speak.

I would recommend that you twist your leads instead of using a choke.

There's no reason not to use both.

No special precautions are needed, just hook them up and go. I fly many big gassers with no chokes, no twisting and no other special uses other than reasonable seperation between the magneto wiring and the rest of the radio equipment. Works well with all my Futaba and Hiteck gear.

Same here, I fly many and have never used a choke or twisted a wire. Never had a problem. Futaba told me it they were no longer used.

Just about every piece of RF generating/receiving equipment in existance has RF chokes in them. Be they ferrite beads, capacitors, or active/passive filters.
