Assan in a jr xp2702 not binding
I have installed the Assan x8d in my JR xp2702 with a switch to go from 2.4 to 72mh.
When I turn the power on press clear, move ch2 to the side twice"as per instructions"the x8 will beep and the led will flash red.
I turn on my rx, the bind light will start flashing but it will not bind.
can anyone help?

Is your Tx the JR XP7202? I could not find info on an XP2702.
Here is the Manual for the X8D. You did not say which Rx you were using.

Was the Bind Plug placed on the correct pins for your Rx?
The XP7202 is a PCM/PPM selectable radio. Did you set your Model Memory to PPM Modulation? Most 2.4 Module manufacturers require that the Tx be set to PPM.
The manual mentions if you have Bind Failure, you may have to wait 2 minutes for the Tx light and the Rx light to turn Green
I did some Google searches and found a number of threads regarding the ASSAN X8D and the XP7202

RE: Assan in a jr xp2702 not binding
One important thing to remember, as you move to 2.4Ghz, is that no matter which manufacturer of 2.4 Tx's or 2.4 Modules you decide to purchase, they will only work with Rx's from the same manufacturer. If you have an ASSAN Module then you can only use Assan Rx's, even though you are putting the Assan Module in a JR Tx.
This is true with JR/Spektrum, Futaba, Hitec, Airtronics, XPS, ASSAN, and everyone else.
I know that some of the Parkzone models that are Bind n Fly use JR/Spektrum compatible Rx's but I am not aware of anyone else.
