No Throttle cut on DX5e Transmitter
I have a DX5e tranmitter that came with a Parkzone Flyer, I bought a AR500 receiver to put in a Glow trainer to replace an FM system and use the DX5e. There is no throttle cut switch, aren't you supposed to have one if your flying anything other than electric.

RE: No Throttle cut on DX5e Transmitter
No, throttle cut is not necessary. Set up the glow engine throttle so that it completely closes when the throttle trim is pulled all the way back. This will kill the engine. When the throttle trim is in the middle you should have a slow idle for landing, and if the throttle trim is pushed all the way up, you will have a fast idle.
