Programing 9c question

I am trying to set up an Ultrastick, the Futaba site says to leave channel 5 blank and use 7 & 8 for flaps. If I do this were do I plug in the battery? Does anyone know if this is what I should do?
Thanks,
John

RE: Programing 9c question

You can use any open channel for the battery power plug, it matters NOT!

Use channel #1 & #7 for aileron/flaperon...

RE: Programing 9c question

I use 1&6 for flaperons and 2&8 for dual elevator servos. I just plug my battery wherever I have a spare channel. If you run out of channels, plug the servo into one side of a Y-harness, the battery into the other, and both into the same channel.

It depends on how many servos you are using but I would be sure to use a heavy duty Y harness.

It should be fine on an ultrastick... Unless it's te 120.

It's fine on most installations -- just plug the Y into the lowest drain channel (ie throttle).
