RE: Amherst Nitro Challenge 2!!!
On a side note.....what do you guys and gal think about some Saturday night racing??!! Our Maintenance Dept has some flood lights that I can get if I provide the poles and etc. Maybe do a "Charlotte" and start in the afternoon and finish under the lights?? Just a thought for next year!! (there is NO way I can get this done this year). The track would hold water better and it would be cooler (although today was beautiful) I think it would be kick ass. One of the Board of Supervisors dropped in on the race today and was really impressed. He even said the night racing would be cool!! Just food for thought........

"Congrats to the Charlottesville racers for 1st - 6th in the buggy class all running Kyoshos!!! "
Hate to correct you Joe but the 4th place car, Amanda, was running my Xray.
Not to bad for a buggy she has never driven and needs work. Its still box stock, geared to high, and the front tire was flopping around from coming unglued!
Joe it was a great day of racing even though I didnt run. Thanks for the food and the good time.

It wouldn't have been us dominating positions 1-6 is Justin was still in but gotta take it anyway . Joe don't worry about track conditions unless theres pot holes turning up. Thats part of offroad is the track will always change throughout the day and its one of the things that I love about offroad racing.

hey joe had a great time .i dont think i could have asked for anything better.
like mike said theres only one way to go know, down hill. that was nice of you
to have free food. i like a full stomach.
also thanks to stampy. without those tires i dont think it would have been the
same outcome. maybe those kyoshos arent junk after all !!!!!
it was a great day, and fun had by all. thanks

Hey Joe --- no problem - I am sure I caused half of the problems -- so don't worry about it. The B main was a good race - not sure what happpend to Eddie and Wayne in that race, when I looked up at the end they were out of it. I think that my driving skills are starting to show some improvement - not much - but a little.
For not having any rain in some 10 days the track was in great shape! Thanks for a well run race!!!! I had a blast.
