RE: TRACK IN HESPERIA CALIFORNIA
Its the day before Xmas, All around the track, Buggies and Truggies are revving to make their attack. Super Daves coming with a big ole sack. In his sack, for all to see, Is a brand new rocket Buggy, Its a losi. Quick and faster than light 33 laps is nothing to a Losi in flight, So stand up and race him if you dare , Super Dave is comming, so just be aware.
Merry Xmas everyone
Track work should resume Sat.Dec.29th. All slaves please report to the track.

RE: TRACK IN HESPERIA CALIFORNIA
Hey guys A-main has their Losi 8's on sale right now. The RR 8t is $679 - $220 for a total price of $459 so if any of you need a last minute gift that is a great price. The Rtr's and buggies are also on sale! Glad to hear your gonna have that new losi out there Dave.
Ryan and I have a couple weeks off and if someone gets a tractor to the track we can dedicate some serious time to a new layout if you guys are all game. Ryan is voting for "BIG" changes to the track and I'm game if you guys are so let us know. I attached just one example and left the jumps out for now. We pushed the track out and cut the berm down, but we were thinking of still having big hills and declines as well as fast sections and slow sections. If you guys are "SERIOUSLY" going to have the nitro jam and especially the JBRL race then poor little hesperia track is in need of something like this. Notice the black parts, we did that intentionally so that the marshals will have a place to stand and so cars wont hit head on as much. Any thoughts?
Hope everyone has a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Ya Tommy I have some cutoff wheels for my dremel, I will try to remember to bring it. I have used it to cut slots in small screws before and it worked. I will try to come out there saturday too maybe around noon or so.

RE: TRACK IN HESPERIA CALIFORNIA
Oh my gosh that was embarrasing. Finally some real racers show up and just whoop up on us locals. I have been dreaming of getting one of those new Kyosho ST-RR's for a few weeks now and Ryan shows up with his and just destroys us! I might have to make the switch back to Kyosho now [] Dave what days are the best to go down and practice because I NEED to get this motor dialed in and I guess race day isnt the best time to do it. I also want to try some chassis changes before I give up on the ol Losi. I just cant believe how badly we were all beatin, but Ryan is an Airtronics sponsored driver who drives Expert Truggy in alot of big races so we shouldnt feel TOO bad I guess. [&o] LOL. 36 laps is probably going to stand up for along time, or until some more experts come up but we will keep trying!!!

RE: TRACK IN HESPERIA CALIFORNIA
Well Jim, most racers come to the track early to do the tune thing,[sm=sleeping.gif] As far as set-ups, do it early, befor you get to the track, so you have time to adjust if it dose not work. I belive if you were to do some serious track work this Sat. morning, That this would improve your lap times. lol I improved my times from 5 crashes down to only 3 crashes, with jest afew hours of track work. but I still cant figure out how to please the turn marshal gods.

RE: TRACK IN HESPERIA CALIFORNIA
LOL. I was more thinking of a time I could go where there wasnt a ton of guys on the track while I was trying different setups. I'll see what I can do about helping out saturday morning because I would really like to get my lap times down and if thats what it takes, then thats what I will do! I guess what I should have asked was do they still have actual practice days that guys can go and pay to practice?
