they are both too long to upload to youtube.
i'll see if i can find something online to edit them.

RE: Charlottesville Racers Thread

maybe we could get a camcorder to tape the carnage with! So Mike your problem lies deeper than the slipper clutch, that replacement part will cost more to ship than the part itself lol.

fourwheels0 04-11-2011 10:24 AM

RE: Charlottesville Racers Thread

ya the part is $2.39 or whatever and what's shipping $8.00? lol.
i noticed my driveshafts are getting twisted too.
my slipper looks like new. maybe because i've had it tightened up almost all the way the whole time i've had it lol.

hey i can get a riding mower and roller for $100. what do you guys think? should i go ahead and get it?.

trackman 04-11-2011 03:02 PM

RE: Charlottesville Racers Thread

mike if you get it let me know . i can chip in some cash. even if it needs a little work, ill put my motor skills to the test!;)

fourwheels0 04-11-2011 03:24 PM

RE: Charlottesville Racers Thread

Been quite a while since I've poked my nose around here.....

Want to get the buggy running again, I assume I'd have to go to Richmond or order online to get a few odds and ends that I'd need?

man who was that guy driving the red truck? he looked good, didnt he?:D
whats up watcherkid, been a long time. we dont even run nitro anymore. running 1/5 scale and electric slashes all the time now. and yeah, not much around anymore for nitro supplies. pretty much order online

and yes mike, the wild child is in the house!!!:D i put it in tonight. the esp head kit is screwwed....... i muffed up something, some deep scratches in the cylinder wall..........[:@]

fourwheels0 04-12-2011 04:53 PM

RE: Charlottesville Racers Thread

red truck? i didn't see no stinking red truck lol.
oh man that sucks about the esp kit.

if the money is deposited in my account from pay pal in the morning i'm gonna get that mower and roller tomorrow. then i'll get the freebie one on Friday.
scott ya if you can chip in a bit ($20 or whatever) that would be great. you too ernie if you can if not don't worry about it.

i got the slash back together. mike had the part i needed for less than $3:D.
i told him to order some more of the tranny shafts and axle stubs lol. i think we'll need them.

WatcherKid 04-12-2011 05:10 PM

RE: Charlottesville Racers Thread

Didn't think you guys would stop running nitro, as big as it used to be. I'll have to order some stuff for the buggy then. I'll keep an eye out and maybe show up if you all run at Scott's one Saturday.

fourwheels0 04-13-2011 08:50 AM

RE: Charlottesville Racers Thread

well the batmobile has a brother lmao. the roller is small but i think it will work. got both for cheap.

RE: Charlottesville Racers Thread

That looks like an old 1979 monkey wards mower! Mike I'll chip in when I can (next month). That roller is small in width, where is the mowing deck?
That trim looks good from ddm :D. What happend to your ESP top end Scott? Did something get in there and scratch the cylinder wall? I finished off the first tank of fuel and everythings good so far on my ESP top end. Gonna try and get another tank through it tomorrow, then I can tune it and beat it on the third tank. Looks like rain saturday [:@]. But maybe nice on suday. what you guys wanna do?

fourwheels0 04-13-2011 01:05 PM

RE: Charlottesville Racers Thread

lol ya no mowing deck on this one. i'm getting another one on friday that is complete. all it needs is the carb cleaned i think.
if it rains saturday then we'll see what sunday is like.

trackman 04-13-2011 02:03 PM

RE: Charlottesville Racers Thread

im not sure ernie......all i know is there are some bad, deep scratches in the wall.:( i guess i can put the stock head back on. but the new motor, i just got it started. i yanked it off the stand twice getting it started! crap, a boatload of compression! it even sounds different from the other motor. i think its louder.:D im letting it cool so i can heat cycle it again......;)
and yes for sunday, im all for FINALLY getting to run. i hope......

fourwheels0 04-16-2011 03:29 PM

RE: Charlottesville Racers Thread

if the track is too wet and muddy then i'm not planning anything lol.

the push mower works fine.
