Figured I would start a new one up for the 2009 season. Special thanks to Dave & Rick (Super Slave & Descommracer) for keeping the Hesperia track alive week after week for all us local racers![sm=thumbup.gif]

Thanks Jim, I have started a new thread over at another site, RC Tech.net, Racing Forum,which is where I will post too.

Just let it be known that if anybody uses this thread out of RCUniverse's rules, they will not be tolerated and asked to stay off our thread. This Thread is only about Green Flag Raceway and the Off Road R/C car Hobby. RGX Blade you are not welcome on this thread.

Maybe the Track will be sorta dry on Sunday???

Track condition : well, it looks like a giant slurpy with snow. The puddles are not to bad , we can drain them easy , its getting the snow to melt . We will see how it looks sunday . You may want to bring your snow shovel saturday ,so we can race sunday . Sorry I am busy on saturday, not sure if Rick is busy or not. Track definitely needs some love and care on Saturday if you want to race Sunday .

Might have to go out there once so I could race because I dont have a person transponder and you can rent them at green flag.

Sorry to say, but the Track is still covered with about 6 inches of snow..... Artic cats would be fun on it... So 12-21-08 the Track will be closed.

Dave, Tony and I cleaned the drains today....might be a week or more before its ready, we are suppost to get some more rain later in the week.

I was planning on nitro racing today but since the track was closed about 12 to 15 of us went up to horsemans center and ran our rock crawlers!! Too much fun I sure wish you guys would dump a pile of rocks at greenflag someday cause we would have all been there today crawlin. Cya at the next race.

Santa must have delivered my new Losi 8 to the wrong house. If you got it by mistake, please send it to me right away.
The track should be dry and ready for grooming. I am busy with family and racing at rev. Sat night and plan on doing some track work Sunday afternoon. Still need post holes and to get the tractor for one more day. Yes, I know the track lay out is cool, the track crew seems to think we can increase lap times to 40 seconds or more by adding slower jump sections, Every time we try to slow it down,we end up going faster.
If you don't want to send the Losi 8 you got by mistake to me, I will just have to be satisfide with the new Pro Flex chassis Santa did bring.Be ready to race January 4, 2009

Dave, my Losi 8ight 2.0 got delivered to the wrong house too!!! i'm not kidding either:( Hey just incase you don't know this already rev changed there saturday race times. They start racing in the morning now. MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!!!

If you consider getting it dropped off to the wrong house the Post Office then YES! My 8ight (never had a 4wd buggy before!) was mailed Dec. 15th, Parcel Post from Illinois and it has been in California for 4 days already and it has been at my P.O for 2 days now.

Should be here tomorrow! Of course I have said that every day since last Saturday because USPS tracking sucks.

Anyone has an answer on tires that work at the track? Right now I have Komodo Dragon 2s, Proline and Losi Step Pins and I am either going to get Crimefighters or Bowties. Any AKAs work?

Hey you guys I wanted to SUGGEST something like this for your section you re-did along the back. The closer section in the picture would be REALLY fun to try and get through and slow down the lap times considerably. Of course this is just my opinion and we need to know what others think so CHIME IN!!!

We already have decided to have a bunch of doubles to slow down.
We have some steps we are following
1. crash wall:)
2. slow the track down as above on the north straight.[>:]
3. have some volunteers;)
4. make it fun :D

I volunteer
Right now the track dirt is vary easy to work , thanks to the rain and snow. Now is the time to work the dirt befor it gets hard and dry. This is alot to do for 3 old men [sm=drowning.gif] We have several projects lined up and need more volunteers to help .[sm=idea.gif]
We are planing to be working at the track Wednesday after noon and Saturday morning.
