Tc3 with a os 12max question
Hello rc world, I have a TC3 with the old Os.12 cv max engine & wanted to know what would my top speed then be ?
my goal is to see my tc3 hit around 70mph, can this happend with my .12 motor or what.

70 MPH with a TC3 will take substantial modification and a wicked race engine or big block.
You will probably max out between 35 and 40 MPH with that engine. The .12 CV is a good engine, but not a super high output or high RPM unit. My TC3 only hits 49 MPH,and that's with very tall gearing and a fresh Fantom FR-15, which makes more power than the .12 CV, and has a 12,000 RPM higher redline (42,500 vs. 30,000).
70MPH with a brushless is not easy; 70 MPH with nitro is much harder.
Also, 70 MPH with a 1/10 scale car is very fast. Without a radar telling you the truth, you'll swear they're going 100+. I have a custom LRP .32 powered RC10GT that currently hits 82 MPH, and it gets away from you in a hurry.
