Street Drag setup adivce
Anyone have any advice for setting up a Yokomo GT-4 for street drags?
Have some Ideas but have not as if yet tested anything, as I am still getting the car back together.
Thanks,
Bryan

haha, street drags are cool...thats the only racing I've done actually and I've lost most of the time but its still really fun.I really don't know anything about the GT-4 but it seems like stiffer suspension seems to help on smooth surfaces.

If the car squats too much, the fronts loose traction. I ran my Schu. Fusion with a stiffer rear susp. and adj. my F. droop to max. to keep all 4 tires grabbin' as long as possable. Problem was as it got goin' really fast, that set up wasn't all that stable! Bumps get to be a real problem at 70 M.P.H.+ and it wanders a lot...

try a light weight flywheel, lightweight outdrives and 25% nitro content cause sometimes it's not top speed it's how fast you get to that top speed. i should know my friends WRX whopped my Supra's A** at the track and my car is alot faster.

Ok, I am thinking maybe if I gave everyone an idea of how my car is set up now that might help.
It is the GT-4 world
Running a Rossi Black Pixi .12 (the 3 port roar legal)
Front one way/solid rear spool
blade sway bar on front/standard on rear
shocks: 50 wt all around currently springs are silver front/white rear
hope this helps
