Default rs4 ss or traxxas 4-tec

Im looking to buy a new nitro onroad car.I dont know which one to get,the rs4ss or the 4-tec.any feedback good or bad would be greatly appreciated. im new to the forum,and just wanted to day hello to everybody

hey there welcome to rc universe, about your car choices it depends what you plan on doing with the car now and in the future. if you want speed i say the 4-TEC it has a powerful engine but i have heard it's hard to tune.not sure about that. if you plan to just bash i say the choice is up to you the SS and 4-TEC are both good cars for bashing, but if you plan on racing in the near future you need to widen your car spectrum. make a list of 5~8 cars and then go to your nearest hobby shop and see what parts they carry most to help in your final decision.

Between the two I would go with the RS4 3.

between the two I would go for the SS too. I like the SS engine better.

But, If you have the money and IF your mechanicall inclined, get the TC3 team kit and but yourself an OS CVR motor.

It will be a "notch higher" than the rest but of course.. it'll cost you a little extra money since you have to buy a radio.

Do the research and you'll eventually see that the choice is clear for your application
