I would worry about flex, and chipping.
You dont want it to flex, especally when you're putting two engines in it, and trying to get the max speed out of it, have it hit something and fracture the whole plate..

Plexiglass that thin will flex. And plexiglass can endup being heavier than aluminium, graphite, and carbon fiber.

Is it just going to be a show car? if you hit anytype of bump your going to scrape the crap out of the plexy chassis.

Haha....dude..your engine mounts will melt right through it and your engine will drop...maybe on an electric RC but nitro, not happening.

well plexigkass is both resistant towrds heat and scrathes and it wont be any worse than a scrath on a new aluminum chassis and i can make a new one any basic color i want plus neon clears and transparents for less than a chassis with a reduced price. yes show car and what the hell i migh run it any way. 250 degrees wont hurt 3mm plexiglass. im gonna try to get alot of the parts cnc milled out of plexiglass also it will be a ghost rider!

i bought a sheet of 3mm carbon fiber from my local tuner shop(for real cars) and im in the process of making a carbon fiber chassis for my rs4-3 ss..it should be pretty cool..if it sucks then ill take it off and go back to aluminum

Indeed and besides I dont know how it is with 1/10 but on my 1/8th a plastic chassis plate (be it carbon, kevlar, fiberglass, or plexi) will surely lead to a seized engine as the alloy chassis plate is also used as a heatsink for the engine...
