RE: flat pack question
you can safely charge a nimh pack at 2x the capacity which would be 2.8 amps but for a regular rx pack probably overkill to charge that in 30 minutes. I would charge it at 1/10 capacity or 150mah for 10 hours when not in a rush. If you have a peak charger it will stop when the pack is full. If you are in a rush I would set it to 1 amp or so and be gentle on the pack.
I see you are in hillsborough. not far from me. where do you run your cars around here?

RE: flat pack question
ok...that one is probably 50-150 mah. I can't read the type. Take 1400 and divide the mah that it says on the charger. That will give you the time to charge.
i.e. If it says 50mah charge rate then it is 1400/50 or 28hours to charge a fully discharged pack. If it is 150mah then it will only take about 10 hours.
