RE: which foams?
Hey I noticed you are in NYC. What part? A lotta city guys use ellegis, yokomo, or GRp tires. Nitro shoes also are pretty good. Some go by the rims that match their car. The Velocity rims are a bit sturdier, but thats more of a concern with 8th buggy racing. Get whatever foams hook up where you're bashing/racing at.

RE: which foams?
Go to Brooklyn Hobbies, East Coast Hobbies, and or America's Hobby Store Center for info on racing at Floyd Bennett Field. That's near Kings Plaza in Brooklyn. It's a huge outdoor parkinglot where racers get together on Sats an Suns for some practice racing. Great fun there.

RE: which foams?
East Coast Hobbies on Bay Parkway is Closed. Go to Brooklyn Hobbies. Their a great bunch of guys there. It's located by about 5-10 min. drive from Floyd Bennett Field. The track is black top with a fire hoses setup. They change the track layout from time to time. If you get their early you can set it up the way you want. They run 1/10th & 1/8th scale cars. 1/8th Scale cars kill 1/10th scale. I know from first hand.[:@]
