I just ordered a neon headlight kit and was wondering whats the easiest way to get the paint off lexan? I need to make the headlights clear. Scratching it off is the last resort. Anyone know of a chemical that removes it?

I removed some paint yesterday to re-spray my bonnet. Get some turps or whitespirit, a brush, and brush away (this also works very well for cleaning off oil and dirt. Leave it a minute. The get some fine sandpaper or steel woll and scrape it off. Not very neat but it does the job. Post pics of you new lights when they arrive.
