Default New Project

Finally... I've been up all night building this, and here are some pics! My lhs had this old RS4 Racer 2, as any of you HPI nuts know that was discontinued in 2003... It's nive though, and the low weight and gearing make this thing really zippy... Low top end, (33 mph) but I can whip this thing around with hot pro compounds on it. The graphite's clean too!

i hope you don't plan on running it with missing engine head screws[:@] you need a 2-speed for it

nice car but u should add alittle bit of speed to the car... 33mph is decent if u just running around i guess though. But i'd rather top out in the 60's with my nitro or id just go back to electric(oh and i can hit in the 30's with my electric)

33 mph was with my GPS on a VERY rich setting. I'm still dialing in the engine with the new intake and exhaust. And I have a question, the threads on the engine itself are stripped, not the screws. How do I fix that without buying a new block? And yes, my lhs had helluv CF parts for this. And I'm taking the 2 speed of my RS4 2...

HPI does an awesome job with parts, I can find parts for my original RS4 1 RTR anywhere. Do you guys think I could fit the racer 2 front end on my RTR? It looks like it is alot better than what my front end looks like, and it looks like it would fit.
