I bought the car 7 years ago from Italy and as a standard it doesn't have to much accelaration but a good top speed. I had done to many modifications on it. The first was the tyres i change the original rubber with the arrows foam tyres for better grip. I run the car on both nitro15% or normal fuel. The big project of this car was the gearbox as the manufucture doen't have it and i had to made it from the begining. Standard gear clutch bellhousing is 23 teethgear so i lower the first i made it 17 teethgear that's why i get more accelaration. Also the exhaust rubber tube i take it off. I take it as a hobby i run it in my free time .Tomorrow i will upload some pictures.

I read that some of you run the car with methanol, and I want to convert my compagnucci too because the Electronic Control Unit Captive has broken. The thing is that I can`t get a carburetor needle for methanol (I`m from Argentina!!!), so I want to ask you (any of you..... please someone !!!!) if you can take a photograph of both needles to compare them and try to modify the gas needle of my car.(I actually can start the engine with a glow plug but the calibration of the carburetor is impossible!!!)

hey there, theres not too many people who have the car, but youre looking for a different carb for methanol? i didnt know you can run that. You can run nitromethane, like nitro cars, but not methanol, i dont think, and the nitro uses the same carb as gas.

Ferrarink, I express myself wrong!!! I want to use the car with nitro, but it's impossible to carb with the same needle.

Yes it runs with the same carb but with a shorter needle , and if you need more power use glow plug no5 instead of the spark plug.

Still 5 years and the car still going steady now even with a 16% nitro with methanol it is getting faster wow.

hi guys, cormierone & asus5 your cars are uber nice! 2 speed too [8D] just bagged me one otherday off ebay for project [8D] rolling chassis no shell, the car had years of grime an mock, engine been opened an leaved so stored, so had some dirt internally too. Came with some worthy useable spares some fit for trash, spend 6+ hrs strip n cleaning chassis, flushed engine/bearings removed linear an flushed barrell,head got cleaned to. Whilst rebuilding engine properly(when arrived back plate was on backwards lol) to best i can for now as need bolts for barrell to crankcase( borrowed 2 head bolts an used some bearings as spacers for now) i noticed a groove in piston oh meant to have a piston ring! Are parts still available?

what spark plug use's? does it require other head button as current one can use glow plug, the main needle on carb was set for nitro 1 &| half turns out from close.
starting it mine hasn't got starter housing (red box) but i have belt an fan tho, could i bump start or flat tow with other rc?

pulled out 1/8 circuit car shells have laying bout to see how lines up with chassis, gonna use f1 shell as won't using that on circuit car.

No worries, I can get custom pistons and rings for these.
I just scored a brand new old stock never ran or painted mini cooper....Now I just dont know what to do with it..
