Default Anyone recognize this chassis?

Hey guys, I got a hold of this rolling chassis and want to get into on road racing. Does anyone recognize it? It seems really good quality and is extremely lightweight and all I need is an engine and gas tank to get it going. I just want to be sure that I can easily get parts for it. Thanks for any help!

Jugding from the blue under body I would guess it's a Yokomo GT-4. Check they're site for reference.

Yes!! Thanks it definitely does look like the Yokomo. Any opinions on the Yokomo GT4? I think it may be worth it for me to pick up an engine for it. The only thing I'm worried about is parts availability.

If ur looking for a good racing car i wouldn't recommend an outdated rtr...Those things are rtr cars incase u didnt know. Also part availbility is a bit on the so-so side for that car... I would recommend either a serpent, Mugen(mtx-4 comming out), or if ur a little on the shy side in money a Hpi r40 will do u great. Especially if u want to learn how to get into onroad racing. Have one and its great for the price(in my opnion). Also the NTC3 seems to be the car everyone wants...(or already has) is capable in racing as well. Although not of pure racing breed.

... i think he wants to get into competitive nitro on road racing... not drag racing in the parking lot with friends...i am telling u on the track a gt-4 wont fair as well and i dont think he'll want to spend 1300 just to stay in there against other top notch cars.

Thanks for the info. Maybe I'll eBay it, anyone interested PM me. I'll take your advice and watch ebay for a good deal on one of those cars you mentioned. Oh, and you're right I do want to race competitively. I think it's boring to just scream up and down parking lots. Even bashing with my Savage got boring so I track modified it to race off road.

2wds tend to have good handling but sacrificing traction...really again.... i suggest serpent, mugen, and the hpi r40 for racing
