NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
the last time i let someone drive my rs4, they thought they could handle the power despite me telling them they couldnt, they floored it to try and be cool and slammed it into a concrete island in the middle of a parking lot at WOT, then i heard " where's the brake?"
dont do it, its not worth it, if you do, set the radio to like 20% throttle

i tell them yes. IF they can put a 500.00 ( or equivalent price for replacement of the car) USD Cash, Muhla Money, Ching, Greenbacks ect... deposit in my hands while they drive. they crash they got a car and i have the money to get a new one.
when it comes to my 1/5 scale gassers, the price i tell them is about 2 grand. Funny i have never had a taker on eihter.

LOL,
You bunch of girls.
I usually offer them ago before they ask if they are watching, and close enough to hear my voice.
If i had fear of them crashing i would just reach over an slam on the brake.
If you guys really dont want anyone to have a go just drive it into your feet lift it up and rev the engine.
Sorry i can't hear you. LOL

i made a mistake of letting a girl try it, i don't recommend that , she crashed it right away
but if its a friend that i trust and know, not like some random person, then ill let them have a little go but i have my hands inches away from the controller just encase and i don't let them go fast, thats just dumb lol unless there experienced, thats a different story

RE: "Hey, can i drive that.."
I let my son and novices drive my Ofna buggy, he's got two electrics and is a pretty good driver for only 8 years old. All other vehicles are off limits to non RCers. We usually bring several cars so if I have the OFNA I'll let a noobie drive it in an open area. It's the poster child for abuse and how not to treat a car. That said, it's not a big deal if it gets damaged or destroyed. It's a great way to promote the hobby and when someone interested learns that they can get a turn key car for around $300 the next question is "where can I buy one". One thing's for sure, no joyrides in this bad boy:

is that one of those v8 nitros i've heard about......................sweat!!!!!!!!! that thing is frggin awsome.
and as for the post.....if you have experiance.......and i have seen you drive..........maybe
if you don't have experiance, i have an old jrx-t2 electric stadium truck with your name on it. its not fast enough to break anything even at wot into a brick wall. believe me i know this for a fact. the last girl i let have a whirle drove it right under a minivan out the otherside and into a wall.........(still holding it at wot) it just bounced off and came back for more. then on the way back across the parking lot the whole turn left to go right thing didn't click with her and she ran it under a parked car wher it got stuck. and still no damage.

I usually let my friends drive, but I tell them to go slow.
Some of them try to be cool and act like they can drive, but it reality they have only driven toy electric cars from Walmart. So, they are not ready for the power of a nitro and crash it.
I have just one rule; if they crash it, they have to pay the bills.
