well the only way to get rust on your engine is inside so just use after run oil, also, you can use denatured alcohol, simple green, nitro cleaner, they all work about the same

So how would you apply the after run oil?
And is it okay to be mixed with Nitro methane when you start the engine? Or do you have to drain it before running the engine again?

No u have to drain it or the engine will explode..............J/K

u do not need to drian it u jsut fire it up like normal the only thing ull notice is it smells funky buring at first but after half a tank it will smell like normal nitro what i do is take the filter off and the fuel line off and inject some after run into the carb and just turn over the engine.........this will coat you whole engine inside...........i use to also take the plug off to inject after run there also BUT i stoped doin it to lower the risk of geting dirt and grime inside the piston

hahaha, that would be so funny!!! its like BOOOOM.. whoops 4got 2 tell u yu have 2 drain it! lol, but yeah, if u go 2 a local hobby store, and buy the after run oil 4 ur engine, ask the guy who works there.. when u buy a product the person who sells should explain how 2 use it.. if not jsut ask. it never hurts 2 ask. and theyll show u exactly where 2 put it... put it in ur carb afer u take off ur air filter, and take of ur glow plug and put a drip in there ensuring ur enignie will stay clean of rust and providing the proper maintanence

Brake cleaner isnt a good idea to use for the internals, i know its exactly like nitro cleaner and alot cheaper. Brake cleaner has different properties that make it harsher than nitro cleaner. Also might react to certain surfaces

I use household cleaner that removes dirt, grime & soap scum. Works great and stops further dirt from sticking to it. Also a dissinfectant

After run is great to use. They stop gumming inside the engine and keep everything lubricated and rust free. My piston still looks brand new and doesnt have the browning-burnt looking color like most engines
