novice question...
hi to everyone, i am new here, i like the rc car racing and i race mini-z cars, but i like to start whith the 1/10 nitro and i need the advice of the experts. A friend offers me a tc3 factory team kit, new, unopened for $135.00 usd, so is that a good deal? and is this a good chassis to start racing? thanks

RE: novice question...
VERY GOOD DEAL, i beleive those things went for close to $350-$400 new in the box, the tc3 is an older chassis but still a good racing chassis, but if you get fully into racing you will of course buy a pure racer
edit: forgot to mention that you will need a radio system with 2 servos $150 approx. a .12-.15 engine $100-$200, tires, wheels, ect

RE: novice question...
thanks, i forgot too to say that i already have a radio system thath works great for a tamiya monster beetle that i own, so i can say that the radio system is no problem for now.
which motor do you recomend for this chassis?, i have some experience whith the rc cars, but i have not drived yet a nitro car i can spent about of $130.00 aprox for the engine.
thanks
