RE: [Awaiting Approval]
Hi guys.
I have a RS4 18SS HPi nitro on road car that does not want to idle. The car runs fine but you have to keep the revs up all the time to keep it idling. I've adjusted the idling to it's highest level but still it does not idle. The car is still stock.
Please help.

Get a new glow plug to be sure it will be ok, and adjust your low speed needle properly. Readjust the carb opening to 1mm open when at idle.

Hi Gynaikas. I sorted my RS4 out . thanks . It took some time to adjust the carb. The low speed needle needed to be adjusted quite a bit. The carb was also open about half way. The linkages also needed to be adjusted to allow everything to work smoothly.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

I'm gonna make a few changes/upgrades soon. You guys have upgraded your cars already so I'm gonna be asking a few questions. I think I might ask some now while I'm on this forum.
What would be the best exhaust to fit to the 18SS engine ?
What would be the best suspension to fit to this car ?

Just finished painting the Chrysler 300C SRT body, I'm cutting it now and hopefully I'll get the decals on pretty soon...
Just need some big ass pimp chrome wheels with it , I do like the ones that HPI recommends with the bodyshell...

RE: [Awaiting Approval]
Hi guys - I need help.
I still have the stock 18SS engine . The clutch springs keep jumping off the centre nut & this causes the clutch shoes to just lay loose in the bell housing. The clutch just engages all the time without accelerating . What can I do to fix the problem ? I've tried fitting thinner springs but this is not helping. Please help. Thanks

Would changing the centre nut not also remedy my problem ?
I can't afford a racing clutch at the moment. Quick fix - cheap fix

Hi. I want to buy the hop up shock set for my HPi RS4 18SS . Does this improve handling & ride height ? The rear end of my car is too low & I've tried everything to raise it.
Please help.
Thanks in advance

Hi. I had about the same problem. I think your clutch is broken or malfunctioning. First gear just engages without even accelerating on the remote. I have the two shoe clutch & I'm going to fit the racing clutch because the normal clutch is useless. The springs keep coming loose .
