Was it mesh right? Make sure your not missing any screws from your motor mounts.

mesh is the distance between your clutch bell and your spur gear, use a normal piece of paper as a spacer to set the mesh

Copied and pasted my post from the other thread.

You need to check the gear mesh. Next time you refit the engine, fold a piece of photocopy paper in half, push the pinion (clutch bell gear) against the spur as hard as you can. Do up one of the screws. Now insert your folded paper into the gear mesh and rotate the pinion, feeding the paper in. It should go in with some resistance, if you can't get it in at all, mesh is too tight, if it goes in easily, mesh is still too loose.

ok so right now since everything is on and in place the paper should go in with some resistance. its 1st gear that keeps strip[ping on me. right now im thinking maybe it too loose because of the way it stripped like it was barely tuoching the pinion gear. how would i adjust it?

Loosen the motor mounts and slide the engine closer to the gears.

ok i did it. i did ajustments and stuff, is it good when the paper takes the groves of the gears. i dont want to start it just yet because im scared the gear is gonna shred again and that was the last one at the hobby shop until the next order.

Yeah the paper is supposed to go in between the teeth of the gears, that way when you slide the engine back in you'll have the proper gear mesh
