i started running my rs4 3 18ss today for the first time. when running for a good 5 minutes not using full throttle the engine shut off and ever since ive had a hard time starting it back up! there was also alot of oil that was seaping from the engine abit and i dont know if thats the cause of the problem. I tried taking out the glow plug to see if the engine was flooded and some oil was coming out from the side of the engine where the exhaust pipe gets connected to. its turned on but would then die out on me again. any help would be appreciated!

Leaning it out a bit could be a good idea but I don't think that's the problem. It might also be too lean and engine dies at high temps lacking of compression. If everything is ok (car doesnt spit out unburn oil from the exaust and also always blue smoke comes out of it) then your problem might be the low speed needle. Too rich low speed needle setting can cause stall when Idling for a long time and also too lean can cause overheating.

Despite of the fact that I've never read apollo's guide, I'm sure that everything he wrote is 100% helpful to everyone. Trust us and you'll never regret it.
