go with the 18ss, ist a lot faster, the t-15 is really crappy, and it shouldnt leak, there should be a metal washer between the slot and the glowplug

Who said T-15 is faster than nitro star 18ss? That's wrong...18ss is much faster much more torgue capable and more durable engine.

the 18 is definetly faster and has more torque. Now that you have the RPMs and the torgue, you might want to change the gearing on the car to take advantage of the torque of the 18. This will definetly make a noticeable performance gain. You can either go up on the teeth of the clutchbell or down on the teeth on the tranny or both.

Alls I know is some company could make an ABSOLUTE KILLING on over-sized gears designed to work with the clutchbells on popular on-road nitro cars.
Kind of like how Boca Bearings makes ceramics for every popular car kit.

The manufacturers already make the gears as big as can be used, wen you go oversize, you need to modfy engine mounts, spur, belts, etc, etc. Some people do it, but it involves light fabrication usually.
