best chasis
I am thinking of doing a project. I am having a problem in finding a bare chasis to start with. I want something that is easy to find parts for and can hold a Big Block engine.

i would like 100mph but that wont happen without a couple grand.I would like to see 60-80mph, probably using a .30.

dont think the .30 is a better choice, u might mean a .32, but that thing revs very low, and ur better off with a lighter, higer revving motor, like an .18 or .21 or .28. Picco make the p9-r which is an onroad .28, which can propel any car to that speed.

i was looking at the rb motors. I thought that the revs would get in the way, then i will probably go with a .21 or .28.

No... a ninja .28 or Novarossi 528, maybe even an RB TM928 will get you up to the speeds you require. While the racing .21s do tend to rev higher, it's not by much these days (literally just a few RPM). Unfortunately a racing .21 does not have the torque to fight wind resistance at insane speeds. A competition .28 is what you want, and gear it to the moon. If I was you, I'd probably start with either a Power Racing XR80 chassis, or a Kyosho Inferno GT chassis.
