Whats the Ultimate Nitro TC3 Setup?
Ive got the ntc3 and this winter i plan to re-do the WHOLE THING from titanium chasis to aluminum and grafite parts (titanium as well) to engine and gearing. i know i definately want to install the centax clutch, and the engine, well that is what im questioning. around jersey the perfered thing is the o.s. 18 tz which if i understood is a monster in the ntc3. but with a little web browsing i discovered the Eb version of the tz. now i know i want top speed to be rediculous so does anyone have a suggestion if the Eb version will work on the ntc3, and if so will there have to be any kinda adjustments to fitment

Take a look at the link that I gave in my last post at the "LET'S INVESTIGATE" thread to see what's the best mod for the NTC3...

Here's the best I could come up with before running out of mods. The only non-graphite, non-Ti, or non-alum parts are the throttle servo linkage, clutch bell, 8 bolts holding the diff cases to the chassis. It's all the lightest parts with a ported/polished motor. Nuts, pivot balls, shock mounts, are done in Ti or aluminum. No bling, all go!

yeah, that would be great, but modding is expensive, like buying two TZ's, last time i checked modding was $120. The best setup i ever saw was not too outrageous but this thing ws a rocket on the track. The cg was so low, and all he had, was the carbon fiber upperdeck, which is low already, composite bulkheads, etc, and titanium screws. Then he had a race .12 which was made by sirio and was like the lowest cg engine of all time.

e imsuck on o.s. engines and i was talking to a guy at the hobby store and he gave me a pretty good break down on the engines. basicly saying 18tz eb mod is great but not for the ntc3, being to powerful especially around the turns, then the regular 18tz is the same concept but doesnt really give you the top end as both the 18tz eb mod and the 12tz eb mod, which leads me to the .12tz, he makes it seem like its the best all around engine for the car but for the price i am buying a new ntc3 lol. so right now im kinda going for the reg 18tz but i got to think over it more.

whats the difference between graphite composite and plastic
whats the difference between graphite composite and plastic
Rigidity-
The graphite parts are stiffer, which allows the suspension to do it's job without flexing. This gives more consistent and predictable handling.
