Monster Truck in the House!
Car Guys,
I need some advice with setting toe. I have a Losi Aftershock that I am building for speed. I will be running Pro-line Road Rage 40 Series tires, high speed transmission and custom high speed pinion and spur gears. This is what bashers do when they get bored of banging there truck around…
My question is, what would you set the front and rear toe for street use and maximum speed?
Thanks!

nice looking setup tool cool is that home made? okay ... the rear toe is always toe in they shouldnt have toe out and the front should be straight always if you want speed. and thats all about it. and a tire that have smaller side wall , get the truck lower and get rid of the rear wing so you can do fast in the straight line. i hope i help you in this advice.....

yep, u might get more help if u post in the monster truck section though, in the front, toe in is is for faster speeds, and toe out is for keeping it in a straight line.

Car Guys,
I came to the car forum for this reason. You guys go fast and you know how to go fast. From talking to other bashers they want to set the rear toe to seven degrees. This is way to much scrub for top end performance. And when you go to your local hobby store and ask for a set up table for a Monster truck they look at you like your crazy and then suggest you “eye it”. Then you e-mail questions to the top selling companies who manufacture set up tables and they don’t return your e-mail. That’s why I built a home made setup table and that’s why I am asking you, the street racers for suggestions!
I will search this forum for toe settings.
Thanks!

for the best all around suspension tuning advice go to wtrscca.org , click enter, and go to car setup and troubleshooting guide, they tune real race cars and can tell you how to setup your truck based on how it handles in turns and or straightaways. they helped me quite a lot
