Default Foam insert hardness?

What effect does the foam hardness make on handling in a car?
I just got my slicks for a TGX and they come with fairly soft foam. Would it be better if I upgrade to a harder material?

Default RE: Foam insert hardness?

It's just like the air pressure in the real car's tyres. Softer inner foam makes the tyre stick on the road more but increases tyre's "side-rolling" wich makes steering less responsive. It depends on the car you have, the surface you're running on and the environmental temperature. Usually the medium ones are better cause they combine all the inner foam type benefits (grip and stability).
