Yeah that's what I mean. The thing you can get and put in in your carb to make it a little slower.

Because it's a little too fast for me right now. So I want to slow it down some till I get used to it.

Personally i would tell you not to bother trying to find carb. inserts, instead either dial out some of the throttle travel on your handset or if you do not have that option then you can move the position of the throttle link on the servo horn to ensure you cannot reach full throttle.

No...if you reduce the size of the venturi then you'll reduce the amount of incoming air...thus fuel...thus power....ok?

Yes it's ok but the venturi effect is used where you want to change the air-flow of one surface...what does it have to do with the carb? The air filter goes on top so there's no venturi effect... Any pics?

yup, a lot of stadium truck guys use em right? to choke the power a little? I think you should listen to Anthoop and just dial down the EPA's so it doesnt open completely.

I can't turn down the epa's because I still have the radio that came with the car. It's the original rs4 3 rtr. How would I adjust the linkage so it doesn't open all the way?

The Sportwerks .26 comes with them too.

There are several things you can do to reduce the servo throw. Change the position of the servo horn, change the length of the throttle linkage, sometimes you can even loosen and rotate the carb. Does your radio trim controls? If so you can use the linkage setting combined with the trim can be a crude kind of end point adjustment.

Hmm,ok even easier way to restrict throttle opening.Just find a spacer of some kind and tape it behind the trigger on your handset (presuming you use a pistol)!
