locked diff in rs4, breaking cvd's ...
i locked the rear diff in my rs4 racer 2 so i could drift. i broke a rear mip cvd, i replaced it with a stock dogbone, broke it, replaced it again, and now it wont stay in it keeps popping out because the diff cup went from brand new to having a big groove wore in it within those 3 tanks... also its the cvd on the same side that keeps messin up... any ideas? do i have to use drift tires because of others gripping to much and breaking parts? am i just to throttle happy? btw the car has .12cvr

you definitely want drift tires with locked diffs, when you slide and the outside wheel is planted well then the inside is gonna want to spin and something has to give. That would be your dogbone. I don't think locking them is a good idea, with drift tires you should be able to drift with the stock open diff.

what type of tires are you using , because if you are using regular tires you will put to much stress on the cvd's so they will break easier

Try the x-pattern tires (stock nitro 3 tires, not the vanatage tires) especially on common asphalt surface they provide longer life over grip...
