What can you do about unexpected gusts??
What can you do about unexpected wind gust?? Today I was runining my Nitrostein TC-3 blasting down the back straight when a big gust of wind blew thru the car popped a monster wheelie at about 70mph almost blew over I hit the brakes and brought it back down. What can you do about that maybe a spoiler?? But where should I put it on the car body or beneath the chassis??

RE: What can you do about unexpected gusts??
Well if it's blowing it up that means the wind is going underneath it
Realistically you want the bottom of the car to be flat pan shaped with no holes (not even around the wheels)
With rear diffusers etc you can actually get this to suck the car down onto the ground (like F1 cars)
In Top Gear they used a 3 series BMW for a 24 hour race and used some wood to do this to the front half of the car. At some stage they crashed the car slightly and lost this wood and they commented that the difference in handling was extremely drastic
Of course with RC cars you have air cooled engines, low ground clearance, imperfect conditions and so on which in reality would prevent you from doing something like that
You can put front spoiler ribs, where basically you have tiny wings hooked up to the side of the front bumper to offer downforce
Similar to this:
That's the Cyber Evo. Sex on wheels basically.
In Japan there is a competition where each year fully modified cars compete to become Japans fastest car. There are two classes, the street legal and all out. Street legal was won by a GT-R that year, and the all out was won by this Cyber Evo...
I love Evo's...

on real cars that race there are splitters that create downforce to keep the vehicle stable. but on full race cars they have giant front lips and huge rear spoilers that create huge amounts for downforce.

It's official name is still R35 though. Godzilla was a nickname that R32+ GTRs got, and Minizilla was for the Pulsar GTi-R
And yes, it beat a Porsche GT3 around Nurburgring. They're awesome!

Yeah I love Evo's too
I think all round they are the best car... sure they don't have the top end of a Supra or GT-R but the Supra or GT-R can't corner anywhere near as hard. I think in a City and tight track it's unbeatable
