Raced a real car/motorcyle with your RC
Has anyone raced a real car or motorcyle with your Nitro RC?
If you have, tell everyone about it in here and what kind of car/motorcycle it was.
And if you have any video or seen any good videos post the link so we can watch them.
I know there are so good stories out there....So, lets hear them!!

RE: Raced a real car/motorcyle with your RC
I've smoked a Yamaha R6...till the first 100-150 meters that my car was visible. At the start he saw my car dissapearing but later he minimized the difference...but still he said to me that by the time I hit the brakes we were about at the same position. The truth is I got scared...I didn't want to see my car under the R6 wheels...but everything went ok!

"G" do you know how fast you guys got to?
I once raced a Mustang('07), be we didnt go for very far, only for like half a block...by the time he was getting to the end I was already on my way back.
I too be scared to get runned over. But oh well, if it happens, I better have won.

I raced a suzuki 600cc over about 100ft. I was over the line and stopped before the bike was halfway along the track. A 1/8th RC car has about 90% the power to weight ratio of an F1car

My ex EVOLVA with the lamberto Collari edition engine was 2.8kg and 3.6hp theoritical output at 40k rpm
(47kmax theoritical) if I remember well... So the ratio is 0.77kg/hp
I believe that I was somewhere around 60-70mph but the EVOLVA did that speed at 2.5 seconds so the R6 didn't stand a chance...I believe that even with my current RS4 I will be in front of the R6 for the first 80-90meters.

ziggy12345: Sirio claimed 3.6 Well neither of them (2.4 or 3.6) is confirmed so tere's no reason to argue. I believe 3.6 is too high and 2.4 is too low for that engine. There was no .21 engine that could stand against that one at straight line.

It has the best upgrades. There's nothing else needed. Springs, shock oil, fail safe, racing fuel tank from FW-RR, Racing pipe, modified sleeve crankshaft and manifold, racing air filter, racing tires, one way front diff, properly adjusted differentials with silicon oil and adjustable turnbuckles and an expenssive radio gear. I don't use carbon. It may be lighter but it ruins the weight balance of the car. The only thing I need is carbon shock towers. I bet that my car is one of the most competitive RS4s (on track) in tis forum. Setup is everything...upgrades just help.

Non neccecerily...we all started from scratch...I believe that even if you're worse rc driver than my grandmother, other drivers there will welcome you and teach you many valuable things. So test your skills first and give it a try!
