Its an old discontinued engine... should still pull out some high revs and abit of power probably wont be reliable for very long though..
Would make a great drift engine though.. probably last 1-2gallons on full time drifting haha

Hey drift*king, I was wondering where did you get that intake from? It's looks good just like a real racing car. I wanted to know if it really works, I might get one also just for the looks.
Hey ferarimk13, thanks for recommending the diablo .15. I took the engine to my hobby shop and they help me fit it onto my rs4 by cutting a piece of the crankshaft off. I've been running it really rich though cuz I'm still doing break in. It feels good so far, let's see what happens when I lean it out a little bit. Love the engine... For a .15, this engine hauls a-z-z and it's worth the price. I would say it's as fast as my T3.0. Hope it's faster when I lean it out. Sorry no digital camera, so no pix. Also, do you know where I can get an exhaust for my rs4 that would go to the back instead of side, this way I can blow smoke through the back and not get grease all over my car.

maoy: TSAIS makes a really nice looking rear exhaust for the RS4. Check it out. Dont know much about the performance increases. Maybe someone on here has experience with it. I've personally always just stock with regularly mounted pipes. Hope that helps, cheers

well, u just have to make sure it goes past the body if its a rear exhaust pipe. Yeah, like rroberto said, im pretty sure tsais makes a good rear exhaust pipe. theres this new pipe called the buka pipe, and the internals move to make the pipe bigger or smaller depending on the rpm, and it gets a better response then all other pipes, it looks real nice, so u should look at that, even though its a normal side pipe

uhm i think the k&n filters are bad for the reason that they arent fine enough... thats why pros f.ex. arent using em.

Mine is Not A K&N It's not a cotton filter OR a foam it's a very fine mesh screen and thats it. no oil no cotton no foam nothing its just a screen and thats it. when you put oil on your foam or cotton filter it fills in some of the small holes in your filter restricting more flow then un-oiled.With that said I dont think the sreen on your sink that keeps sht out of your glass of water stops the water OR slows it down ask a plumber-Air will do the same thing going thru the sreen-when you open your window at hone they have a screen to keep out bugs-air moves just fine thru it!
As for my hand made cold-air-intake just like the ones on full sive real cars it get the filter away from the motor and gets all the fresh air it can want and just like the big ones it dont hurt the air flow what so ever......And works great.......
No just to see I spent $15 on a new Integy hyper air filter. Now this filter is good for .15-.25 size motors and still the so called K&N filter on a LONG pipe has alot more flow and no restriction what so ever. FYI the one thats on it now is made by APC and can be found at pepboys and is of stianless steal mesh and needs no oil to run it and will have the best flow short of leaving the filter off the car.

ey Drift King, doesn't your air filter add weight to your car because it's bigger and made of aluminum? Also, where did you get that long ram pipe for the intake from? PepBoys Also? Looks good.

yup it was a heavy filter.As for the arm I made it out of aluminum tube that I found around the shop. It was a little beat up when I found it but nothing some sand paper and buffer didnt fix. And it only weights about 2-3 grams. I just got my Integy hyper air filter and put it on it weights less then the apc but dont flow as good. I think the weight loss vs. all stuff I have on my car made it a better choice for my car.

drift: What did you use for the aluminum pipe on your intake? What is that 2nd bar that comes across the width of the car? Part of the NOS system. I’d like to emulate that intake look. Its gorgeous, the whole car that is.
BTW, I am new to the boards. Although I have read a lot on here over the last few months. Got my first nitro 2 weeks ago and I already used a gallon, tires, glow plug, and Mustang body. Time to learn how to paint. Looking for some upgrades for my RS4 3 Evo+. I am getting a racing clutch and brakes. Looking at the RD logics pipe and an air filter now. Any other suggestions?

Thanks man I love this car For the intake I use some aluminum fuel line from a race car. It was a little beat up when I found it but nothing a little sandpaper and a buffer didnt fix. as for the 2nd bar not sure what one so the crome bar is a replacement part for the handle/roll bar and the clear line from the blue bullet(left side.the nitrous tank/solenoid)is to feed the N02 to the intake. I got more stuff going on it now + a new engine in the works not that something was wrong with this one just want more power but who dont lol.

how do u like your vantage pipe? ive had mine for a while too, but its too busy at the lhs so i didnt get to run it yet. I've had it for about 2 months lol

I love it. its lightweight and you get this deep sound from the carbon fiber not like the ping of a aluminum pipe.

works good you just need to tune for it. Its only good for straight line drags lol. I'm working on a vid now with it spraying the n2o off the line from a dead stop. wow it takes off when I can get it to hook up. Looking at wide tires for the rear see if that will help her hook up. I may have to see if I can put a set of drag tires on the car

wow Man if your car shoots as good as it looks it is a fantastic machine! Very nice work! As i can see you have the cvds installed so get foams instantly for better "take off"
