i just blew the trans in my scx10. well the output shaft on the front snapped off. was wondering if theres a better tranny i can fit mabey a traxxas since all the hobby shops around me only stock traxxas parts. any ideas??

A popular modification is to put a Summit tranny there. But you could also get yourself a set of steel outdrives and you won't have any more issues with it snapping off:

awsome  im ordering the steel shafts.  i was looking at the summit trans.  the 2 speed is not for me.  i only do trails and climbing.  i keep all the speeding around for the stampede vxl.  i was looking for a stronger trans for climbing.

It may be a good idea to upgrade your driveshafts to the MIP steel CV shafts or at least get the driveshaft reinforcement rings to keep the u-joints from spreading:

you can also get the axial steel tranny gears, had to do that on mine.

Axial sells the steel outputs now for 12-15. RR has a one piece for 20 or so. Either will fix you right up.
