TLT Phase II Completed...
I just finished stretching my TLT-1 out to an 11" axle to axle wheelbase. Center chassis height is around 2.5".
I'm now using Associated 1.02" shocks with limiters placed on the amount of travel (I wanted length, not height).
The next phase will be a Penguin RC chassis to lower the CG and make the overall weight a little lighter. I'm also thinking about some bigger tires, either IMEX 2.2" pullers or maybe trying to retorfit some T-Maxx wheels and tires on it. That would require a larger hex nut though, which I'd have to find.
The first pick is a picture of the first stretch, the second the new stretch. The third is the first stretch articulation. The fourth shot is long stretch articulation.
