RE: I have to built one of those RC Crawlers
First a couple of axles, servos, an esc, batteries, links, a chassi, tires and a radio.
My first build, you can see it here:
http://www.clodtalk.com/viewtopic.ph...538759b47f2544
I managed to make it for around 3500 Sek, I made alot self and found the rest cheap on ebay.
Some suitable donors:
Tamiya Clodbuster
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGA82&P=7
Very popular, easy to build, there are tons of things for it. No shaft drive, one motor on each axle.
As been around since -89 I think.
Tamiya TXT-1
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXAWE0&P=0
The followup to Clodbuster, more scalelike.
Kyosho Twinforce
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGAJ3&P=7
Has not been around that long but has potential to grow, a little bit bigger then the other.
If you want to be scalelike go with this one I think.
Some sites:
http://rc4wd.com/shop/ Almost every part you need for crawling.
