Default clod buster crawler Q's

Hey all!! I had a cloddie when i was 16, sold it, regretted it ever since then. So now 18 years on, i decided to get one again. Well sort of hehehe!! Got the gearboxes(or whatever u call em, i'm new to this lol!!) and a custom crawler chassis from here( this is the one i got) http://www.e-customconnect.com/InetRC/Album/ClodCrawl/

Now i need to ask:
-What motors do i get for this beast?
-Where do i get a servo reverser for using both servo's?( i only have a 2 ch tx)
-What are the servo choices?
-What are the best tyres(how they preform)(are mine on the right way?? I see some people do turn them around.........?)

I'll try to add a pic of my monster!!
I never realised how much i missed this till i had a go!!!!(feel like i'm 16 again hehehehe!!!!)

looks good but i would lower it, move the shocks down on the links,

for motors 55t lathe(if you want a crawler)

the highest torque you can get for the servos

and narrow the tires or maybe get some kongs and narrow them tall and narrow is the key

heres a link to the integy 55t lathe motor

http://integy.automated-shops.com/cg...41105500592.ae

also you can get kongs for 49.95 off ebay for 4 tires and then just buy maxx rims cause your gonna narrow them anyways it is just about the same price

Yea the lathe motors are the best, I have 4 crawlers and they all have lathe motors, But make sure to run 9 tooth pinions, you will have a truck that cant be stoped. As for tires I run stock clod tires cut and tred glued to the side walls, then boil them to make them real soft. You will also want to get axle wideners, Make the truck wide and about 2 1/2" to 3" off the ground. the object is ti get the links almost level to the ground. Then go out test it and have fun. Oh yea make sure your axles are locked.
