Ok, here's the thing. I'm trying to decide whether to go with the setup I just got, pictured below, or to get a RCGUY Gecko for crawlin'
My current setup is a clodzilla 4 canti. with shocks in place of the canti links. I don't care much for the steering setup on the truck. Too exposed to damage. Also, wouldn't mind getting more artic. RCGUY says 80-90 deg with their gecko.
I'm new to this, so let me know what you think.

lose atleast one of the swaybars and that will give you tons more articulation, maybe change the link mounting points on the axle, both of those should give you tons more articulation,, al so take out some of the spacers to lower it a bit

the gecko is cool.
the second truck wont crawl very well because its CG is so high, its links are at crazy bad angles, and cantis just plain stink for hardcore crawlin.

I agree go with the Gecko 2 rock crawling chassis. It has very good articluation and LCG. It is also a bad idea to go with the setup pictured above because it has to short of wheel base which is pretty bad for rock crawling.
