I need to make a crawler, something very simple. All it would need to go over would be gravel, a 3" curb, under an 18" bridge, and over a set of two 1-inch curbs stacked in steps. The key is that it needs to be very cheap and basically as simple as possible. Any suggestions?

Cheap + crawler dont go together. Ive only bought the linkages and axles (well the axles are comin with wheels/tires but they will be replaced) for my crawler and have already spent over $120. By time I get a new set of tires/wheels, ESC, motors, servo, chassis, etc. I expect to spend close to or over $1000 on it.
It sounds to me like a stempede, E-maxx, or simular monster truck is more like what you need. You dont need a crawler to go over a curb gravel, etc., my 1/10 buggies can even do that.
