Default ESC problem !?!?!

Im looking for an ESC that will run a 970 motor and be able to run around 18v of power it has to be mechanical too. It's not for a crawler but i figured this would be a good place to ask since you probably run big motors and things and you would know so please help.

nvm got a new idea to use a 550 johnson and a clod msc. But how much voltage can you put through a stock clod msc? thanks

I tried 9.6 and it's kinda funny to watch, but the servo jest turned to the left uncontrollably really hard, and about a week after that it fried[&o] that was on a twin detonator which has basically the same msc
